【The Jury】 Simon Elliott _ The jury of 2019 Taiwan International Graphic Design Award2019/6/24

Simon is a founding Director of Rose. Educated at Chelsea School of Art, he started his career at Pentagram in 1991, working for John McConnell, prior to moving to publishers Faber and Faber as Publicity Designer under John’s creative direction. He moved to Paris in 1994, where he spent 3 years working at Carré Noir for brands including Tag Heuer, Ernst and Young, and L’Oréal. He returned to London to join CDT Design, working with clients including Citibank, Royal Mail, Royal Society of Arts and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, prior to co-founding Rose in 1999. Over the past two decades, Rose has become internationally renowned as a multi-award winning branding agency, working with clients including BAFTA, Bletchley Park, Deutsche Bank, D&AD, English National Opera, Mediacom, Tate, V&A and Unilever Simon has won more than 100 international creative awards, including 3 coveted D&AD yellow pencils. He has been a frequent jury member, including six times at D&AD, and the Design Chair at the Fresh Awards for more than a decade. He has also lectured on branding across the UK and internationally, including Moscow, Istanbul, Oslo and Paris.



Taiwan International Graphic Design Award contains “Taiwan International Poster Design Award” and “Taiwan International CI Design Award.” Based on regulation of international jury, we invite professional design masters across continents to be our jury group. The jury panel of the past years has come from all over around the world, including the United States, Britain, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, Hong Kong, Australia, France, Denmark and other countries. Selected all the outstanding design works for TiGDA through their professional eyes and our fair selection processes.
